Description
The aim of this course is to prepare students to undertake their first internship at the secondary level. Students will learn how to plan for and manage a secondary class. This course covers four major areas : a synthesis and review of previous internship and course work, analysis of the MEQ secondary curricula (regular, enriched, and language arts), an examination of available teaching materials (course books, software, etc.), the creation of an on-line community of pre-service teachers. Students will also be required to add to the portfolio created during the first internship course.
